Nielsen’s 2013 Supplier Diversity Annual Report Now Available
Chicago, IL (May 13, 2014) – Nielsen’s supplier diversity team proudly announces the availability of its 2013 Supplier Diversity Annual Report. This report briefly discusses the realignment of Nielsen’s supplier diversity strategy, shows the results of the program changes and gives a transparent snapshot of key activities the team will implement to drive efforts of building a world-class, global supplier diversity program.

Other highlights within the report include a 128 percent increase in the number of diverse suppliers in the company’s supply chain between 2012 and 2013. Within this same time frame, the company also experienced a 54 percent spend increase with certified minority business enterprises and it grew its indirect diverse spend by 48 percent.
In addition, the report provides a list of the supplier diversity program’s affiliation with local and national business advocacy organizations, describes initiatives specific to Nielsen’s constituents and provides readers with insights about future program goals for 2014.
